A Brief Background of the Air Force One Detailing Team

Renny Doyle of Detailing Success began the Air Force One Detailing Team after getting the chance to restore and revitalize this aircraft for the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington. Soon after, Renny was invited back with a team of detailers, and he saw this as the ultimate chance to bring all levels of detailing excellence on board. With proper vetting and training, a select number of detailing team members is now brought to Seattle to work on Air Force One.

To join the Air Force One Detailing team, members must complete the 5-day advanced detailer training available through Detailing Success. This was our first step in being qualified to join the Air Force One Detailing Team. During this training, we had to exhibit skills that were far superior in quality and efficiency. Without question, our team was up for the challenge, and we succeeded.

Fast-forward to today, our team at South Bay Detailing made the cut, and we could not be more ecstatic! Renny considers this an opportunity for the country’s leading detailers to help preserve our nation’s history, and we agree. We see working on Air Force One for the past three years as a true privilege, knowing that we must always perfect our detailing work to maintain the level of quality this aircraft requires and deserves.
